The focus of these campus presentations are tailored to the sponsoring department. For example:

Language/Literature Departments often request introductions to epics, mythology, poetry, aphorisms and proverbs. Baba delves deeply into each of these areas to expose students and staff to the beauty and grandeur of cultures which they may rarely come into contact with. Music is also demonstrated to be an integral part of Africa’s orature. These lecture demonstrations usually end with a performance in the institutions concert hall.

Music Departments generally focus on musicianship and theory. Many of the principles and theories associated with music that are attributed to Pythagoras can be shown to predate him and have been articulated upon, globally, by different cultures of the world. The griot, jail, or bard in West African Culture is examined for the role of his/her music plays in structuring the society. These lecture demonstrations usually end with a performance in the institutions concert hall.
